- 時間ステップ
- 長い時間ステップ: 4 秒
- 短い時間ステップ: 0.4 秒 (音波に対するクーラン数は約 0.2)
- 温度の初期分布:
- 0 km (30 bar) -- 200 km(0.1 bar) までは等温位(30 bar で温度 490 K, 0.1 bar で温度 100 K)
- 200 km より上空では等温.
- 温度勾配に不連続が生じないように, 等温位領域と等温度領域の境界を双曲線関数を用いてなめらかにつなぐ.
- 放射強制:
- 高度 120 km (3.5 bar) から高度 200 km (0.1 bar) の範囲で水平一様に -1 K/day の強制.
