7.6.2 USPFIT

Function

The maximum and minimum values of the data set by USSPNT are rounded to a convenient value for setting appropriate transformation function  parameters (window and viewport).

Notes

(a)

This routine only sets the transformation function  parameters, and does not make them effective. To make the transformation function effective, a call must be made to GRSTRF  after USPFIT.

(b)

When the viewport is not specified by SGSVPT or SGRSET, the viewport (the frame area for graph) is set in the WS window with margin widths proportional to the character size RSIZEL1 of the label. 

(c)

When the maximum and minimum values of the coordinate axes have been set using GRSWND/SGSWND or SGpSET, SGpSTX, then the value set by USSPNT is ignored and no rounding is performed.
